Who is Sandy Pavick?
Writing is my second (or maybe third) career, but I’ve been at it for nearly 20 years now. It’s my full-time job and I’ve weathered the ups and downs of the publishing business, from writing articles for traditional magazines to writing digital content. Along the way, I’ve penned tens of thousands of articles and had two books published, “Cleveland’s Little Italy” and “Cleveland’s Slavic Village”. My third book, “Historic Churches of Ashtabula County” is coming out in November and I’m working on my fourth book about the history of Painesville (Ohio).
I live out in the woods outside of a small town in Northeast Ohio. When I’m not writing, I’m cooking, canning, digging in my garden, organizing a church function or hiking in the woods.
Why subscribe?

We’ll talk about the often-unglamorous side of writing and getting a book published; my everyday life here in Ohio with my husband, two cats and a dog; and my 65-year-old take on the absurdities and wonderful possibilities of life.
